“The Final Round of LocWorld’s 19th Process Innovation Challenge (PIC) was recorded on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at The Monterey Convention Center in Monterey, California, as part of #LocWorld54 Conference. The finals featured six top innovators pitching their innovations to 3 “Process Dragons” (judges) for the chance to win the “Innovator of the Year – North America” Award.

This year’s Innovator of the Year – North America Award went to Sheriff Issaka of African Languages Labs for the innovation “MansalLLM: A Unified AI Model for African Language Translation and Localization” and the Runner Up was Gabriel Fairman ( Bureau Works) with the innovation “Articulated Suggestions” Third place went to Klaus Fleischmann, Kaleidoscope GmbH, with “Model Context Protocol for Terminology Augmented Generation”.

The three other finalists competing were Marina Sánchez Torrón (Smartling), Andreas Ljungström (XTM International), and Konstantin Savenkov, (Intento). The Process Dragons who evaluated the competition were Olga Blasco (Lion People Global), Celine Halpert (Canva), and Salvo Giammarresi (Airbnb). Dave Ruane of Lion People Global and Marina Pantcheva of RWS ran and moderated the competition.
