“We had the largest group of innovations in a number of years join us at the preliminaries, 13 innovators covered topics including: continuous localization, microcontent, terminology , automated QA, NLP AI techniques, UI and process automation, AI and speech, a few on NMT (as usual), I18n, accessibility testing, TM refreshing and a way for linguists to use blockchain CVs. Variety was very much the theme this time which one of the largest spread of areas we have seen. I want to extend our thanks to all those innovators who entered PIC #12, unfortunately we do not have space for them all in the final round. We are also delighted to have 3 fantastic dragons join us for the preliminary rounds; industry guru, Bert Esselink, previous PIC winner, Giulia Tarditi and localization consultant, Patricia Paladini. The final in Berlin will be a must attend for anyone interested in seeing what is really innovating in our industry. See you there!”
