“I’d like to thank everyone for taking part, entries this year exceeded expectations, in particular with the backdrop of the global health crisis. We had a high level of innovative ideas come in to us, and the largest number of entries so far, for a PIC event. Innovators seem to be embracing virtualism, and finding smart ways to showcase their innovations. The advisory board had a tough time making decisions, requiring multiple voting rounds to decide on the finalists.”

Dave Ruane, PIC chair

During the preliminary rounds, one lucky attendee won a free ticket to LocWorldWide. The winner was Alice Bellia, a freelance translator based in Livorno, Italy. Well done Alice!

The final round will take place on the 29th of July at the LocWorldWide event. Thanks again to all participants and the event organizers.
We will see you in 5 weeks time for the PIC #8 final!
